As an enthusiastic photographer, Christian Lamy has been capturing the beauty and diversity of nature and the world for 20 years. For him, photography is not only a lively hobby but also a way of observing nature in all its glory. Photography is a means of developing a perspective on the essentials, capturing shapes, colors, and forms, and sharing them with others. A photo achieves success when it evokes emotions, prompts questions or simply imparts something new. For this reason, his portfolio also includes travel reports and “street photography”. Christian enjoys capturing various scenes in the streets of villages and cities the most. With his camera in hand, he immerses himself in the happenings around him, “freezing” exciting moments in his photos to share stories with people.
Christian was born in 1975 and lives in Diekirch, Luxembourg. He works in the field of education and practices photography in his free time. Christian publishes his photos on social media and regularly presents his work in exhibitions throughout Luxembourg. His latest exhibitions have focused on themes such as trees & woods, deserts & rocks, and vast landscapes, showcasing images from around the world. Currently, Christian is working on a major project capturing the capitals of Europe. He is traveling to each capital to capture the diversity and daily life in Europe, aiming to complete the project by 2026, with a dozen cities left to cover. He travels combining several passions: traveling, discovery, walking, photography, culture, history, and storytelling.
